Three realizations


Refer to the three realizations that the Buddha attained at the end of his fourth stage of samādhi.  These were: the knowledge of his own past lives (V: túc mạng minh), the knowledge of the passing away and reappearance of beings  also called knowledge of celestial vision (V: thiên nhãn minh), and  the knowledge of the termination of mental defilements (V: lậu tận minh)
